Choice of browser

This website is best viewed using Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher or Firefox 1.0. We also recommend that the browser you use has the latest updates or service packs.

You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader to read PDF documents.

Flash and Quicktime

The Audi websites use Flash and Quicktime applications which provide a multimedia presentation of the Audi world. You will find the necessary plug-ins here.

Real Audio

To play sound files you will need the Real Player.

Fonts

To best view the fonts on the Audi websites, please check that your browser has the following settings. These are normally the default settings:

Internet Explorer
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x/6.x
Tools menu\Internet Options\General tab\Accessibility: "Ignore font styles specified on Web pages” and “Ignore font sizes specified on Web pages” must be deactivated.

Firefox
Edit menu\Preferences\Appearance\Fonts: check box “Allow documents to use other fonts” must be activated.

  • Keyboard and mouse: [Ctrl] + scroll wheel
  • Key combination [Ctrl] + [0] resets default size from version 7:
  • Click on the magnifying glass in the bottom right-hand corner, or
  • select a setting by means of the arrow on the right, next to the magnifying glass

Netscape (Windows, Version 7 and higher)

  • Menu: View / Text Zoom: Larger / Smaller
  • Increase text size key combination [Ctrl] + [+]
  • Decrease text size key combination [Ctrl] + [-]
  • Key combination [Ctrl] + [0] resets default size

Mozilla Firefox (Windows, Version 1.5 and higher)

  • Keyboard and mouse: [Ctrl] + scroll wheel
